I've never seen the show. I prefer to read the books. And I must say, wow. Why does Jenny look so spankin? And why is she blond? And I dunno but Serena looks kinda weird. And wow. I never pictured Chuck so Hott! And why is dan so prelicious? I definietly see more bad ass ness in him. So why does he look so trimmed and preplike? weird....

lol. Did you hear that the prequel to Gossip Girl came out? I need to get my hands on that book.

Serena is still my fave. Though Dan comes real close as well.

As far as the show goes, I LOVE Nate and really think they should give his story more attention. Chuck of course is the MAN and I think that character should go right up there with BEST CHARACTER EVER hahahaha - as far as the girls. Really I don't like any of them, like Serena is all 'like OMG I made a mistake so I'm just going to keep ruining everything good that happens to me' and it just kind of gets on my nerves. Blair would be cool, but she is kind of one sided, and it bugs me.

I think the show spends a lot of time on the guys, which I TOTALLY think is cool. After all if most of the stuff was all about the girls, I don't think I'd watch.

Hey, I love this series too.. Though I'm a bit old for the target audience, I enjoyed watching it. I love their clothes, they're so cute!

I have to admit, this isn't a show I would watch on my own, but my friend made me watch it, and now I love it! Not many people I know what it, though, which is sad. I can't wait to see the premiere tonight. =)

Yes! Gossip Girl is one of the most underrated shows out there. It's understandable from the title that it wouldn't attract certain demographics, but I really think more people can enjoy it if they give it a try.

Obviously, Chuck Bass is my favorite, even before his new mushy/emoness. I love that he's such a jackass haha. Blair follows, she's just hilarious.

And honestly after that... the characters are kind of drowned by the plots. I think the Humphreys are really obnoxious. Serena is whiney, but Lily is kind of cool. Eric isn't so bad, but they haven't really paid enough attention to him to ruin my opinion. Nate and Vanessa? The jury is still out on that. I initially disliked Vanessa, but her relationship with Nate is kind of cute. There hasn't been too much attention on them, which I'm hoping there will be later down the road.

I think the main thing that's keeping my attention right now is the transition of the Bass empire and Blair's relationship with him. I'm behind by like 2 episodes, so don't tell me yet! lol

Chuck & Blair are my favourite characters. Usually Chuck is in the lead, but lately with his ridiculous storyline with the trashy tramp has gotten on my nerves. So.. Blair is winning.

I'm getting irked by the constant roadblocks for the Chuck/Blair relationship. C'mon.. going out with Nate again is like beating a dead horse. In the famous words of Monty Python: GET ON WITH IT!

I LOVE Gossip Girl, my favourite being Chuck.
It annoyed me at first how some of the characters looked/acted different than they did in the books. Like, Vanessa was supposed to be bald, and I can tell you she's definitaly not bald in the show, and Dan was supposed to be a freaky obsessive poet dude. etc.

Well,I started watching this week and...Ok,lets make a better explanation for my entrance on the Gossip Girl world:I never read the books.But I was aware of the TV show,because it had Blake Lively(and she was so cool on The Sisterhood...)and Chace Crawford(GOOOD!).There's already a problem:I liked Nate/Serena better.Right,before that my cousin had mentioned about GG and I knew the beginning:Serena slept with Blair's(S' BFF) boyfriend Nate.That caught my attention.Don't think I'm a bitch like that,but in fiction is quite hot,it creates such a tension between the characters...

Then,I find out that Nate/Serena ain't the main couple.It was actually Serena/Dan,whoever he was.So I said to myself:don't watch it.You don't wanna ship the wrong couple again and get upset when they don't end up together,like usually happens.And you know how you hate that your favourite couples usually don't end up together.
BUT I still wanted to watch Serena/Nate scenes,know Blair and Chuck better,and there were the younger siblings.I wanted to watch more cute Eric/Jenny scenes AND he was sooo cute *-*.To make it worse,my cousin tells he's gay and I'm like WTF?????

Last week I watched the Cobra Starship video with Leighton Meester and I was like:I gotta watch GG,NOW!And I finally begun!I've already watched the first 4 episodes and tomorrow I'll continue \o/ It's sooo addictive!I love everyone:Blair,Chuck,Nate,Serena,Jenny,Eric,the crazy parents...OK,I don't love Dan.He's kinda without it.I mean,he's lacking sex appeal.He's like the nice poor guy who ends up going out with S a few times and she thinks he's cool.Like any other guy,like just another boyfriend.Nothing special.Let me make a comparison to explain it better: Dan/Serena is like when Clary was dating Simon.She liked him,she liked being with him,but it was too safe,too normal.And everytime she saw Jace,there was that tension in the air,that "I love you,but I can't do it,so go away" thing.Taht would be Serena's relationship with Nate.Do you understand my point?I'm worried about how clear my explanation might(not)be...

Oh,and when I watched the fourth ep,with that Dan/Blair scene,I was like:B needs a guy like him!SHE needs him,not Serena!GO DAN/BLAIR!!!haha call me crazy.And there's Jenny/Eric,which would be such a cute couple BUT.Oh,c'mon!The way he looks at her!He can't be gay!
