I think Simon might be more important than we realize and he's already saved the day once

It was cool when he turned into a vampire, but I don't know how I feel about him being able to be out in the daylight. I'm sure this will be covered in CoG, but when I read that I was like...huh? And Simon saying "Eat your heart out Jace" wouldn't be cool, I mean it was his blood that saved Simon's life after all.

My impressions of Simon were alright. I knew he'd be the bff for Clary. I love his wit and sarcastic sense of humor, but mostly;
I love his shirts.

But I did feel like he was in the way for a lot of the book, but that's just the bias that developed for Jace/Clary. Come on Simon, C*ck blocker!

But I do think he's a character that deserves that chance to grow. I dunno about this stuff with Jace's blood and whatever but... you know we'll see. I gotta say though I was very disappointed that he didn't explode into flames.

I hated Simon in CoB because he was interferring but I sort of liked him then in CoA until he turned into a fricking Vampire!I was like WHAT?I even cried but that was cuz I thoguht he dies but still so now hes all 'Special' and arghhhhhh it annoys me...

I like Simon. But like many have already said him and Clary are a no-no. And i was actually very proud of him for letting Clary go. He deserves to be happy too. And its not fair to either him or Clary if they're together. Plus i think him and Maya or w/e her name is would be super cute together.

Okay, Simon has to be my favorite character in the series, next to Alec, but I hope that he doesn't end up with Clary. Seriously, Clary annoys the ever-loving double hockey sticks out of me and I'm a firm beliver that he's too good for her.

And with the whole "He never dies!" thing, yeah, i didn't like that either. He's edging into Mary Sue territory at this point, with his "speshul" powers and his ability to defy death at the most convinient times. He's the proverbial lamb and I've come to accept that. In every series, there has to be a sacrafice made and in MI, it's Simon. My theroy for CoG? He dies. Clary has to choose between saving him and saving some else (Jace, her mom, ect.) and she choose the other person and sacrafices Simon.

But then he comes back to life!!! (Just kidding. )

But, yeah, he's really cool and I definetly favor him over Jace.

D: I did NOT think of that!!!! Holy cow! Sacrificial lamb! And clary deciding over him or someody else holy freaking cow! I totally didn't think of that! But it odly makes sense! In fact, it makes a lot of sense.... except not really. XDDD. Like, I get it, but I don't actually see it happening.

But I don't think it would be Clary's choice. I mean, I don't think I can see it being up to Clary to decide oh let's say who lives Jace or Simon. She wouldn't be able to. Okay, I'll describe the scene in my head. XDD. Basically, if it's the three of them, right? And Clar has to decide who lives. If Jace is there, I'm putting my money on him giving in and dying first. I don't know, but I don't see him being a snot "Oh Definitely Kill Simon clairs." You know? Simon would probably stay silent, because he would be afraid for what Clary would choose. Because he would suspect it would be for him to die, and for Jace to live. However, if Jace were somehow unconcious, thereofre unable to make the decision, Clary wouldn't be able to decide and it would totally be Simon's moment to shine. He'd probably be like "Jace saved my life, and now I'm repaying it. And you love him Clary blah blah.." You know, the whole tale. And so he would die, but he himself would choose it. I think that might actually be the way to go. And actually, I don't think there would be any time in the books where that would happen. XDDDD. But yeah, it would be Simon's turn to be noble. And it would actually be pretty awesome. And if he did someting like that, he would be one of my top respected characters. That is, unless this results to Clary hating Jace because stupid Simon would not be dead because of him. Urg, hate when Clary does that. XD
