So I loved all the cute little moments between Mag and Ali in this book , and I have this adorable mental image in my mind of the Lightwood family, minus Alec, walking down a hall in the Institute, and all of a sudden, Magnus and Alec walk out of a bathroom together in only towels.

And they just all say hi and walk on.

Magnus freaks , thinking Alec's family thinks he's a slut or something. I might write the fanfic. I haven't decided yet.

And I used a lot of emoticons in this post...

OH OH OH!! what if Magnus like tiiiiimetravels or something in the infernal devices and meets Alec in the future, and then goes back to his own timeline being all happy and giddy and stuff, and then waits some hundred years til Alec has been born and gives the party invitation to Isabelle so maaaaybe she'd bring her brother to the party and alec and Magnus would meeeeeeet, it would explain why Isabelle, being a shadowhunter and all, got a hold of the invitation in the first place.. And I just realized this was the most farfetched theory ever 0.0.

Or or , maybe a vision magnus gets, of his one truuuu luuuuv. Although highly unlikely, I'm still allowed to dream!

BTW, just had to put in my two cents here about the actual Alec/Magnus pairing. I adore them. I think CC did such a good job building them up, even if she did tear them down a little.

I know some people were all upset that they didn't fall all over each other professing neverending love, but I liked it. Subtle, simple, a lot like them actually.

The way we know these characters to be, I don't think either one would be left in doubt of the other's love, even if they don't say it a lot.

I also had another thought about Mag and Alec after.

Magnus stayed over right, thinking he'll just poof out in the morning, before anyone's awake. Well, in the Institute, he can't poof/Apparate/whatever it's called. So he is forced to do The Walk of Shame.

I can just imagine him trying to sneek out of Alec's room and running smack into Maryse. He expects her to blow up, instead she's all like, "Hi, Magnus! Want some pancakes?"

And because he defiled her baby, Magnus can't make himself refuse and is stuck eating pancakes in the Lightwood's kitchen. LOL
