I was just wondering.... Has anyone thought about the fact that Mag is immortal and Alec isn't? That he will DIE and leave Magnus possibly heartbroken? How do you think that they'll work around this, if there is a 'them' to work it around. Of course, Cassie the Punisher might just kill Alec and then the problem is void.

I've always thought that there may be some type of spell or something that could make a Shadowhunter immortal. Of course, it would probably be painful/nearly impossible/dangerous, but, knowing Magnus, he'd do anything to keep Alec.
-shrugs- I dunno, but I trust Magnus and his intense lovelovelove for Alec to find a way to keep them together FOREVAH. =DDD

I know. I share the trust, it's just that I can't see Alec (the way he is now) giving his life up to Magnus like that. Perfect trust like that is hard to find.

Maybe we'll get Simon lusting after Shadowhunter blood enough to go crazy and bite Alec, draining him, and they have to turn him to save him!!!!

Or actually I like Loki's idea of using a spell.

Hmm I have doubts about that spell theory... I mean, if there's an actual spell to m ake people (yeah, or shadowhunters, whatever) immortal, then everything's just too easy, isn't it? ANd then Magnus would have used THAT spell on Alec the first time he almost died...

Maybe Cassandra will go all Romeo and Juliet with Alec and Magnus. So Magnus stabs him self...when ever Alec dies.. or something along the lines of that.

I didn't mean to start an emo thread... I just wanted opinions... OMKT! What if they do go all Romeo and Juliet??? I might just have to lose all respect for CC if that happens. Maybe I'm looking too far into it. Maybe the whole point of their coupling is to just live in the moment, not look too far into the future.

Aww man, this is Beth/Mick Buffy/angel all over again... although I would compare magnus with Spike more.. No matter how much they lurve each other, I just can't imagine them committing suicide over the other ones death.. what happens in my mind is that they both die with major honor in some huge ass battle and shadowhunter and downworlder kids will idolize them forever.. but I would mind if Alec magically developed immortality ^^

My heart breaks at that idea. D= Because it would be totally sad. *sniffles* I guess that the best we can hope for is that Magnus and Alec get seperated, and then they're all emoish for a while, and then they get over each other, but they get reunited right before Alec dies and it's all sweet and fluffy, but since they'd been away for so long it doesn't hurt Magnus as much.

But that would be just as bad. D=
