I asked earlier on in the month on pandemonium if CC got any inspiration for the relationship between Jace and Clary from the book Flowers in the Attic. She replied no, but said the actualy inspiration was from this article:

If you don't feel like reading it, it's about GSA - Genetic Sexual Attraction. Basically, if sibilings are seperated when young, and meet when they are much older, they can develop a case of GSA. Apparently adoption agencies have to warn people about GSA if they go out looking for their family. And I read somewhere else, that it can also happen with first cousins and so on.

In a way, it kind of scares me about the relationship with Jace and Clary. I doubt it, but anything is possible in these books.

I read that! And was like, WHOA. Some of those stories make Jace/Clary look sweet and tame.

Yeah I read that too. and it is crazy.

but since I don't really really believe that they are brother and sister, it didn't make me too worried for Jace and Clary.

I mean, maybe they will turn out to be related. and that would not be good.

but I've seen too many negative clues in the books to be convinced that they're related. so I don't know.

But that is crazy and insanely possible.

I am also a strong believer that they are not related, but at times I have my doubts. With all the clues and all, they could be possibly throwing us off to make a bigger impact at the end.

hmmm well they fell in love with eachother BEFORE they knew they were related...somehow I feel that's different...but hey, I'm sure they're not even related anyways...hmm
