Clary/Sebastian Shippers

I'm not really sure about the pairing of Clary and Sebastian...I mean who's left for Isabelle?!? lol...my feelings about Sebastian are kinda mixed right now...a part of me thinks that he's only using her and that he works for Valentine, not the clave. But if it was the clave he worked for then wouldn't he have told them she was in Idris, and they could've found out what they could about her w/out Sebastian's help? But it seems more likely that he works for Valentine b/c Valentine now has an idea of what Clary can do, so he might wanna find out more by using some dashing prince that he thinks Clary will fall for and trust. The other thing could be that he does actually like Clary, & Clary will have to choose btwn him and Jace, b/c lets face it their is no way Jace is Clary's brother...he can't be! and I don't think that Sebastian will be Clary's brother b/c I don't think that CC will repeat something like that...her falling for him then realize he's her brother...lol

But it will be fun to see Jace jealous of Sebastian...b/c unlike Simon, Sebastian is actual competition for him!! I can't wait to see that!

^ Isabelle really couldn't have Sebastian, because they are related. I might have gotten that mixed up.. but I belive that they are cousins? But we could always give Isabelle, Jace..since they arn't blood related. (not that I want that to happen)

Yeah, Evil is Sexy ( in the first book Isabelle says "That's kind of hot, That whole evil thing")
See i think the couples will be:
Alec/ Magnus
Clary/Sebastain
Isabelle/Simon

Jace is left all alone. Because he messed up.
I used to be a total Jace Clary shipper untill the end of the second book. "I'll just be your brother" That ruined it for me.

Ooh the suspense, I'm just gonna take CC mentiontioning that Sebastian is supposed to get between Jace and Clary. What way does she mean? I dunno but hopefully whatever Sebastian does, it will only make Jace and Clary fight for eachother.

I hope think that that may happen, but i kinda hope that In the end Jace loses. I have issuse with Jace/Clary now, because of what has happend in the other books.

Actually, Sebastian is a cousin of the Penhallows, who are the Lightwoods' friends. So maybe they could get together. Somehow I could totally see that pairing....

I would love to really see Jace fight for Clary. I mean, with Simon, admit it, there's not much competition there. With Sebastian, he seems to be at least somewhat substantial competing material. Clary and Sebastian can get together, sure, but they have GOT to break up so Clary and Jace can get together, though. Otherwise, I will be very, very angry, indeed. But Jace really fighting for Clary is something that I NEED to see. Well, read, but you get the idea. It would be interesting to see how dirty he would fight.

Take note that I don't think he really will follow through with the whole "I'll just be your brother" thing. That just CAN'T be possible (I hope.)

I think it'd be a bit too cliche if Isabelle ends up with Sebastian, but that's just my opinion.

I can't say yet if I think Clary/Sebastian would be good together because we haven't had a cookie to see how they react to eachother, even though it is pretty kind of obvious they get together or do *something* that makes Jace wildly jealous.

Ok, let me start by making two points:

I HATE love triangles with a passion. I find them selfish and I firmly believe that whoever is knowingly involved in one is driven more by lust and his/her ego than true love. Having said that I honestly believe we've seen more than enough love triangles in MI: Jace/Clary/Simon, Clary/Simon/Maia, Clary/Simon/Isabelle, Alec/Clary/Jace, Alec/Jace/Magnus, Valentine/Jocelyn/Lucian….ENOUGH!!! It just doesn't get any more complicated and weird than that. It's time to get things settled and I loath the stupid plotlines where the author has a million gorgeous incredible guys fall for the main heroine.
CC is going on and on about impossible relationship and how this whole series is about blood and relations and family and how we can find a way to define ourselves and who we are out of all of this. Therefore, having Jace and Clary NOT being related would kind of contradict the very core of this series. It would be like the movie Birth where the author/director went through all this reincarnation built up only to chose the easy way out and turn the main character into a liar defying the whole movie.

Therefore I hope Clary and Jace are related and that, since Simon is obviously not the one f or Clary, Clary can fall in love with Sebastian for good and stay with him.

Of course on the other hand Sebastian can be proven to be Clary's true brother so….I'll wait for the CoG, I can't ship S/C before I read the book.

I completely agree. With Simon, there wasn't going to be anything but friendship for Clary. I'm sure Jace knew that, and so it wasn't as hard for him as it would have been if he were concerned that Clary really could fall for Simon. Sure, he was upset that she had open feelings for him, but they were only friendship, even when she was kissing him. She didn't feel any different, and all three of them knew that. With Sebastian, there's a chance Clary could fall for him (though not as hard as for Jace, please, CC!) and that would irritate Jace to no end. It would break him. Here's this perfect guy that Clary has drawn for who knows how long, come to life off the page. Of course she's going to be interested! When Jace realises this, no matter how mad he is at her for coming to the Glass City without permission, he's going to have to fight for Clary, and fight hard. Even if it turns out that they're related (though I hope they're not!), if they both fight hard enough, I think it'll work out alright. =) So Clary/Sebastian might happen for a little while, but not with any degree of permanence.

Okay, I for one am rooting for SebastianxClary, personally I think Jace needs to get over himself. Who knows, maybe Sebastian will make Clary a better person. One question though: Why is everyone saying stuff like Jace is being overprotective and jealous of Sebastian, he hasn't shown any jealousy, not even in the cookie scene..

If Sebastian had been introduced ealier in the series then I might be for the Clary/Sebastion shipping, but we don't really know much about him. I am slighty afraid though that Jace wont fight for Clary and go "the Edward way".

YES!! That's exactly how I feel about it. I personally think he is REALLY her brother, and when she finds out it'll be hilarious, causen that's the second time the guy she's interested in will turn out to be her brother.

One of the new characters in CoG, Cassie posted some cookies that have him in it.

And I think there is a description of sebastian on here somewhere, Or if you feel to lazy to search here you can find it on her google groups page.
