Sometimes I feel bad for poor Alec. Not that I don't love him with Magnus because I do!!! It's just that...could YOU imagine being with Magnus? haha What a handfull that would be! And Alec is just kind of low-key and quiet. And Magnus is...well, not quiet. But I guess that's what makes it work, right? It'd be boring if they were the same.

I'm really a fan of Alec and Magnus, they balance each other very well. Alec is more calm and to me dosen't seem all that outgoing, where as Magnus parades around in his crazy glitter hair,bright coloured robes and gold turban. They can bring the best out in each other. Alec and Jace.. just dosen't sit with me, Jace would "wear the pants in that relationship" if they were to be pair together but Alec should try and "love" Magnus instead of Jace. It would just be better in the long run.

When I first started reading City of Bones, ( I was so uninformed back then) I put Clary and Alec together because I thought the only reason he was so mean to her was because he liked her! Of course I don't think that anymore.

Yeah... Magnus/Alec is my favorite pairing. They're just so adorably awkward together (Well, Alec is. Magnus not so much.) that you can't help but grin like an idiot when they're in the same scene.

Being around Magnus hopefully will open Alec up... after all, the first time we ever heard him laugh, it was at the party. He's just such a sad little guy in serious need of glitter.

I looooooooooooove Alec/Magnus!! I believe the reason why is so damn obvious I don't have to explain, do I?!?! Magnus is melting my heart, poor thing!! You got to treat him better than that Alec.

off topic: Damn am I the only one who was heartbroken when Simon died? I was all teary, I couldn't believe CC did this to me, TWICE!!! Simon doesn't deserve all this hate just because 'he got int he way' off J/C, their freaking genes are in the way!!!!!!

On the Alec/Magnus topic: Who doesn't love them? They're my absolute favorite ship in the series, and Magnus is my absolute favorite character. He's just so hard to dislike with his flambouyant glitteriness, and his awesome hair. And I agree with Lai--hopefully Alec will come out of his awkward little shell and just accept that NO Jace does not love him and GET OVER IT ALEC and just be with Magnus because you guys were meant to be...

So I was rereading Valiant by Holly Black the other day, looking for any MI references that might pop up. So, right in the middle of Central Park, with NOTHING before or after relating to this, is the possible magnus/alec gem:

"In the cover of the patchy branches, two men were twined together, one of them in a suit and overcoat, the other in jeans and a denim jacket."

Nothing explains this later that I could find, and I know CC and Holly Black stick bits of each other's work into their own. Eh? Eh? Or am I making something out of nothing?

Love, love, love the Alec/Magnus relationship. It's such a great thing that a character storyline was put in a young adult novel. They are adorable in so many ways. Both characters are equally entertaining.

Of course I personally see even more, more angst in Alec but that's because i usually love to see my favorite characters suffer. It's my personal weirdness.
