You guys don't get this from me because I try soooo hard to be nice and calm, but I really need to get this out. Thus why I made this forum thing. So what is up that is making me soooo fustrated? Well, my mom is royally pissing me off.

Today is my brother's birthday, which means in a sense he is supposed to be getting a bit more attention from his mother. They went to see one movie and that was all. That is all the time she spent with him. Where is she now? Oh, she is in her room doing whatever with her boyfriend. Yes mom, what I wonderful way to spend your only son's birthday. I mean I have been used to her not giving a shit about my birthday, like going off to breakfast at some little food place while I get stuck with cooking oatmeal using a propane stove in the heat or not giving me a present until Christmas (or not at all like last year), but this is Jareth and my mother's only supporter (let's just say he is in denial). I mean really. I saw my brother watching tv (when he normally plays WoW) and my mother's door closed indicating she has company. I got so pissed off I even sent her a text, which she has yet to reply to. It read, You seem to be spending loads of time with your son on his birthday.

I know I sound mean, but I could have been a lot worse. Heck, I wanted to be a lot crueler. She is really pissing me off these days. When it comes to her boyfriend she couldn't give two fucks about her children! My parents really weren't ready for kids. My dad is foolish and my mother is selfish. I love them both, more so my dad right now, but I am starting to really wish they had grown up a bit more before having kids. They are better parents than some still, but they still weren't ready.

Wow I'm really sorry Cat. I hate to say this but my own twin sister's actions with her current boyfriend seems to mirror your mom's. Its hard because she seems to think that the family is the only one who sees this because she has big rose colored shades on right now. Just know you're not alone in your frustrations.
