i personally, have two guesses about this new character.

1.) he's going to be a bad guy. (it would be awesome tho!)
2.) he is actually an undercover agent from the clave who has secretly been lookin after clary for some time. (maybe he has followed her in new york before. clary's mind block might have made her forget but her subconscience mind maybe didnt forget his face so that's why she has dreamt about him before and draws him in pictures.)

I think Sebastian will be 100% pure evil sexiness! I know I'm going to fall in love with him...I was already swooning when he appeared in last month's cookie. Damn the allure of the bad boys!

I think he's going to end up being a friend for Clary to turn to when she's feeling all emo in Idris, what with Simon in jail and Jace trying to act all platonic and brotherly.

So he gains her trust...and then she finds out in the end that he has been Valentine's puppet all along. And she's going to be like "Wow, I'm an idiot."

But here's the twist: at the moment after she finds out he's evil, he's going to have a change of heart, and like...sacrafice himself for her or something.

Yeah...I really have no idea what I'm talking about...just letting my mind get out of control.

Well, Jess...I have nothing to say as you pretty much summed up how I also feel about Sebastian. Sounds like a good theory to me.

I think Sebastian will turn out too be good and really be a main part in the City Of Glass.

Its just going to make everything more interesting in the love triangle now the Simon is in the slammer. I also recall hearing something about Clary having dreams about him in COB and COA? yes?..no? I'm crazy?

Anyways that makes me think that hes going to be a major tie in to Clary's past and possibly Jaces too?

I haven't read COG, and I am determined to finish COA tonight! I just know that I want Clary to be with Jace, and if not with him; with Sebastian!

Hey people from the forums!!! I just feel like this deserves attention. Check out what Jess said at the top.

This was all said back in august.

Now, I don't know about you, but somehow, and I really don't know how, but SOMEHOW, everything Jess said seems to have some sort of familiar ring to it.... as if all that she said actually happened. [except for the change of heart thing. lol. Sabby was a jack ass till the freaking end. XD]

I don't know, I just think that's pretty skilled. Personally. XD. We had that mofo figured out even before he made an apperence in a single cookie. Yet somehow, despite all this, Cassie still managed to comepletely surprise you.

I'm just rambling -- I miss the books. I should probs re-read CoG. It was one of the greatest books ever. XD

Seriously!?!?!?! from one single cookie she extracted all those theories?!?!?! Hellz yea! major kudos!

Call me crazy, insane, weird, or whatever, but when I first read about Sebastian in CoG, I completely thought either Clary was going to end up with him instead of Jace (not that I want that to happen, I was just so mad at Jace at the time for being an ass), or that Alec was going to end up with Sebastian, and Magnus would get mad because he's in love with Alec, and then Magnus would somehow use the White book to punish Alec and Sebastian (like, turning them into some horrible creatures). Then, Jace would go save them and Magnus would be put in a cell at the Guard, Alec would realize he only went with Sebastian because he was afraid of committing himself to Magnus, go save Magnus, and then they would be together. Though, Sebastian would want revenge then, because he really was in love with Alec, and Jace would be angry and confused, because Alec saved Magnus even though of what Magnus did to him, so Jace and Sebastian would think Magnus put a spell on Alec, so they would team up to try and save Alec, but then they themselves would fall in love. Then Clary and Simon would end up together one way or another. So basically it would end up that Clary and Simon are together, Jace and Sebastian, and Magnus and Alec. Isabelle would be the only one left, would get angry, and somehow destroy everyone's happiness, looking fabulous the entire time. But, that was just my theory untill I read that Sebastian is a spy for Valentine. After that, there is no way that was happening. I'm just as happy now, though, because now Jace and Clary might get together I'm only on page 302, and can't wait to read more !!!
