| I don't like Mia... She gets on my nerves. And she almost ripped Simon's face off and then was all... 'Oh I'm so sorry!'... She has too many mood swings. |

| Well she is a werewolf - and from what I can tell most of them seem to have some serious mood swings. At least in most of the books I've read they do.
I think she's another one of those characters I don't know much about - it almost seems like she is just a fluff character, like what Simon was in the first book, just there to break the tension or to add more drama to the plot line. But other than that she's pretty much disposable in my eyes - like I don't think I would have been to upset if she had died in CoA.
Harsh but true |

| Oh you can ask Mick... I wanted her to die... | Spoiler: | | | When Simon "died" in CoA I kept thinking to myself... 'WHY COULDN'T IT HAVE BEEN MIA!!!!'.... I actually stopped reading at that part... Until Mick told me Simon comes back... |
I just don't like her... She gets in the way... |

| See, Maia doesn't bother me because she's going to probably get with Simon in the end. I'm a fan of Simon and we all know that he won't end up with Clary, so at least this way he can be happy with Maia. Clary doesn't have the same feelings for Simon as he does for her. So at least maybe he can be happy with Maia. That's why when she was introduced in CoA I didn't mind much as I could see her role in the books. |

| She doesn't really bother me. In fact, she seems kind of pointless. A fluff character, like Kaylee said. She could be disposed of and I wouldn't be bothered in the slightest. |

| See... She doesn't really bother me, but she just adds so much drama... Like the whole part in CoA were it was giving us her back story all I could think was... 'This chick is taking up page space... Get back to Jace.' Yes she is fluff... But dramatic fluff... |

| I genuinely like Maia. She is an interesting character with a very interesting back round story. Maia was obviously made to keep things fresh and dramatic, by adding a new sort of central character, and by maybe being Simon's new love interest. Despite the one time when she re-meets Simon after he turns into a vampire, it's werewolf instinct to attack him. She herself says that not only is it instinct, but she saw one of her close friends get ripped in half by vampires.
Also, if you are a Twilighter or a Twihard like me, then you'll see similarities with vampires and werewolves. Also, look at Edward and Jacob. |

| Too true guys. She definitally took up too much space. And I really didn't care for her in the slightest. But the thing is, I didn't care for Simon much either.... heck I still don't. XD. But He was with Clary at the time and I hope you guys understand by now that in my eyes, anythiing, ANYTHING, that comes in between Clary and Jace DIES. Or, deserves to die. And NEEDS to die. But because of Maia, Simon got off of Clary. Therefore I have no hatered or tiredness for her in the slightest. Just as anybody that comes in between Clary and Jace get instand hatered, anybody who clears an obstacle between the two gets instand gratitude. There fore I like Maia. :] |

| I like her. She reminds me of a punky-rocker girl. I think she's quite a realistic character (a part from the werewolf thing.) I know quite a few girls like her, she's not a worthless character! Besides, think of her's and Simon's kids (If they can...I'm only halfway through the book... ) |
