Do you have any ideas on her? What do you thinks going to happen with her in the final book? Do you think she's going to give a barrel of new secrets when she wakes up, if she wakes up? Discuss Jocelyn here Very Happy

Well...If Cassandra Clare wanted to be completely EVIL, Jocelyn would wake up and say, "Hey! It's my daughter Clary and the son I thought was dead but obviously isn't! Have you been, ya know, getting to know each other?"
At which the only thing that Clary could do would be to hit Jocelyn over the head before anyone heard what she said, so her Jace can live happily ever after in the land of my messed up mind.

In all seriousness, I haven't put as much thought to Jocelyn as the rest, I guess because, well...she's comatose right now. I guess I should do that...

It's true her comatose state is kind of.. hard to get around.

I'm just wondering when the frick she's gonna wake up, damnit. I dunno. Maybe it'll be too much trouble after she'd be awake. All those long lost stories that only she knows the answers to. I have a feeling Jocelyn might turn into a big ol' liar.. It could be interesting.

If you look at the chapter list that Tom posted under Book News...I have a feeling that Jocelyn will wake up and tell her story in the chapter 17, A Shadowhunter's Tale. It would mirror Luke's version of the events in CoB, Werewolf's Tale. But ch.17, well, that's probably closer to the endof the book. Poor Jocelyn

Good catch...sounds like she may not wake up or tell her story until chatper 17.

who knows, Jocelynn does seem to have something too hide I mean her waking up could cause issues, she put herself to sleep for a reason, no?

I am REALLY hoping that she wakes up and is like - haha - guess what - Your not brother and sister - HOORAY!!!! And I never really had a son - like gave birth to him, he was actually one of the other shadow hunters children. My son actually died at birth and I didn't have the heart to tell Valie and so I adopted one of our fellow shadowhunters children.

I know it's FAR fetched - but I do good with the stuff that's WAY out there ROFL

I don't know about that but I'd definately say that it's highly unlikely that they are siblings I mean Valentine said it himself, you know at the end of City of Ashes... that's right I read purposely looking and on a lot of occasions Valentine almost lets it slip that they aren't related
