I talk about Bill a lot on this site, because he's my Magnus, but he's also the lead singer of a kick ass rock band from Germany, the one who beat out Miley Cyrus, Katy Pery, The Jonas Brothers, and Taylor Swift at the VMAs and won the award for best newcomer.

They're actually not new at all. They've been as popular as the Jonas Brothers are in America today, in Germany, and all of Europe, for that matter, for nearly 5 years. They broke on the music scene when Bill, the lead singer, and his identical twin brother Tom were 15, Gustav, drums, was 16, and Georg, bass, was 17. They sell out arenas in Paris three days in a row and perform for some 30,000 people a night. They are amazing. I highly recommend them.

haha... I've known about Tokio Hotel for a few years now... I'm actually impressed how mature their sound is getting. It was a little but unfinished when I first heard them, but they've really polished up and have been famous overseas for a while. They definitely deserve their upcoming fame in the states. They're a lot of fun Very Happy

You are so right about Bill though... I didn't think about it, but when I saw the title of this thread, I thought of him right away haha

You are so right about Bill though... I didn't think about it, but when I saw the title of this thread, I thought of him right away haha

Yeah, they are sounding a lot more grown up now (see Reden Razz

), and I'm really looking forward to their next album. It's been produced by the same people that did a Korn CD, and everyone says it's a lot darker with more guitar, so we'll get to see Tom/Gibson happy time more often in live performances!! Or we can always hope.

Sounds like something Tom would do. In one of their songs, Live Ever Second, or Leb De Sekunde, there's a part when he humps his guitar. See videobelow. LOL BTW, it's at 1:25.
