I don't even care if you think I'm the biggest dork ever. But this movie is going to be amazing and will rock myface off.

The cast looks... amazing, I wouldn't have imagined those actors, but when I saw the previews I just couldn't stop thinking how perfect they all are. I used to watch Star Trek with my dad as a kid. I'm mostly a Next Generation gal (Picard <3) and Voyager as well. My interest died with Deep Space Nine because... meh. But old school Star Trek? Full of win.

Now that I have publicly declared myself as the biggest dork ever. Feel free to squeal with me.

Chris Pine as Kirk? *flails* can you imagine the infatuative personality of Kirk combined with Chris Pines droolworthy looks? Dont get me wrong I've got nuttin against william shatner but I just happened to be nonborn when girls and boys my age squealed over him back in the days.

I know exactly what you mean! I mean old school Kirk and Picard weren't traditionally good looking by society's standards, but lordy were they HOTTT. Even Janeway was schmexy. And I haven't seen Chris Pine since that disastrous Lindsay Lohan movie, but he won me over in the preview. And Sylar! Zachary Quinto as Spock!!?!?!?

Kathryn was da bomb!! her hair so pwettttyy, and everyone on that ship soooo totally liked her bossiness *giggles*. And I'll admit, I usually stay *away from anything lohan-produced so the only reason I coul endure that movie was chris' baby blue eyes *-* wheeee imagine sylar with spock's bowl cut and uppity eyebrows! *pinches his cheeks* so adorable!

I had seen part of the cast list before I saw the preview, and when it said Zachary Quinto, I kind of went... o.0

But the cinematography, the casting, the costumes and make up. It all looks absolutely amazing. I just cannot wait. I will have to drag my friends to come watch it with me, which will be interesting to see. I'm gonna completely dork out that night. Haha.

This movie is perfection. I never really paid attention the series (my step-dad is in to it hardcore) but over the years I've probably watched more episodes of Star Trek than House and Lost combined.

Omg star trek = is like watching MI as a movie! Spent the whole time comparing all the characters and plot to cob/coa

- youve got the blonde main guy = jace.. womaniser, keeps getting exiled, rebel, naughty!
- there was a full on hunter moon scene. Maia, jace and getting into a fight in A BAR!
- A magnus lookalike fighting in a gold sparkling suit
- spock = meldroid the fairy!!!
- old version of alec... he kept forcing the blonde guy [jace] to heal
- evil guy [eric bana] had shadowhunter type tatts
- There was a cameo by bella hehee [Watch out for the lil rock girl thingy, friends with the scottish dude]
- *GASP* there was also a scene where jace is getting it on with get this green alien girl with red curly hair!!!!

I want to see this movie so bad! and I don't even like Star Treck to be honest with you.. but it just looks sooo GOOD!

But I can't get anyone to go see it with me, so It is kind of depressing!

aww rly??I got my friends to join me in the theatre by showing them pictures of Chris Pine, he who plays kirk, and they were all practically drooling over the computer screen lol xD so we went and watched it.

I would so recommend this movie to anyone, even if you don't like star trek, hell half my friend started watching old star trek episodes from the sixties after they watched this movie, even though they hated star trek .
