I totally get where your coming from though!! I'm not as into HP as some people cause the books haven't really grasped(sp??? ) me as well as some other books. So I can't have a honest deep opinion about it but I give small thoughts. I know what you mean by if Twilight gets the same treatment as HP if the movie isn't going the way everyone wants them to go. One of the producers of Twilight has also said that but with different wording: "We aren't making Twilight Book: The movie, We're making Twilight. SO it will have changes that have been approved by SM." Or something VERY close to that.

I don't know if they Had J.K.'s Approval for the changes that were made for the HP movies ......

Ur voicing your opinion and I appreciate that since everyone should do that. Honesty is my #1 thing when talking to people. If your honest and say what's on your mind. Even if it makes someone pissed at you, your not lying about it. Your giving the truth not a white lie that makes them happy.

I think I've heard about what that person said about the Twilight movie. But people will still be pissed and that's what bothers me. haha

Okay honestly, you shouldn't get that worked up about Twilight. Honestly. Just calm down. Harry Potter was an epic turn. People will remember that book for life. Twilight is a fad. People will forget it. Why is it a fad? And Harry Potter not? Because people fell in love with Harry Potter because it was a new world. And you could totally get lost in it. Twilight was for the characters. They were so real you could just picture them sitting next to you. People grew up with Harry Potter. You can't take that experience from them. But for me, Twilight was the icing on the cake. I partially grew up with Harry Potter, but Twilight completed it. But people will forget Twilight. Because with Harry Potter, sure the characters will die, but the world will still be there forevermore. With Twilight, as soon as the characters die, you got nothing. So just let us enjoy this fad while it lasts. For me, it has already died. I thought that Breaking Dawn would re-awake my obssesion, but alas, no. So don't ruin our exitement and love for Twilight. It's only going to last for another couple of years at most. Where as Harry Potter will be forever. So please stop with the "I don't get how poeple love this book? It's shit compared to Harry Potter. And all this hype too! I mean, its so not fair!" Just stop it. Let us enjoy out little fad while it lasts. Because it won't last. So that thought should be enough for you.

Twilight has not acheived that peak like we thought it did. People who have never even picked up a book i their lives know Harry Potter. They know it like they know Lord of the Rings, and Starwars, and Brittney Spears. But people don't know Twilight. Not like that. So just let us enjoy our fad while it lasts. Honestly.

I think the movie is going to be crap. I started out with no hope at all, than Robert made me hopeful. But Kristen demolished that hope. She fails as Bella. Like, epicly. I am still going to go. But yeah.

It's like Harry Potter, the movie is going to be shit, but I am still going to go. And yes, we perfectly understand that you can't make it word for word. But quite frankly, in case you haven't noticed, the movies are getting shorter and shorter. You could have fit in another 30 minutes to the 5th film. And they don't pay attention to DETAILS. That's why Twilight won't be THAT bad. Because they crae about the fans and they paid special attention to details. HP fails epicly in that department. Like, what the eff are those kids doing wearing muggle clothes in school?! Snape should have had their asses hanging for that. I mean, what happened to ROBES?! And I absolutely LOATH the Movie Dumbledore. Like, I cannot convey you how much I hate him. Everytime he shows up I groan. He is so ANGRY and grouchy and.... grr.. He does not have the same feel like the Book Dumbledore.

And summit was only being brilliant by moving up the date. Wow. That hurt to say. Considering Canadas posistion. Are we seriously not going to get it until December? Is that what you meant Ash when you said "sorry Canada"? Gosh Dangit. You are so freaking kidding me.

Okay seriously, when I said Twilight is crap compared to Harry Potter, I meant for me. I'm not trying to force it on people. And if it came off that way, sorry. that's not how it was meant.
Sorry, but i have the right to say I don't like Twilight that much anymore.
And if it seems like I'm over-reacting about the whole moving thing, that's how it was when I first thought about it. I'm not trying to ruin anyone's 'fad.' that's just how it is for me. I've 'calmed down' now, but i was just saying what i thought at the time.

But I don't want a fight to happen. i was putting my opinion out there, and if that offends people, then, oh well. I'm over it.

OMG!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS ******* AWESOME!!!!!!!! Last night i saw the advanced showing and much to my surprise i LOVED it! But let me warn you if you dont like the books or have no interest in reading them you will not like it. at all.

before it came out i was really REALLY skeptical about Kristen Stewart doing a good job as Bella but wow, she was perfect! AND ROB!! he was amazing too everybody was perfect for their roles especially (now this may be a surprise) Anna Kendrick (Jessica) and Ashley Greene (Alice). Jessica was exactly how i imagined her... shallow and ditsy. Alice was adorable

Everybody ... GO SEE IT NOWWW!!!

Well, I'm glad you liked it. I respect that.
Now for my opinion.

You guys, they didn't even MENTION Jasper's talent.
The special effects were AWFUL, and so was the acting. Kristen Stewart has done amazing in everything I've seen her in. Until now. D:
The "meadow" scene? WTF WAS THAT? They were only in the meadow for a second!

I would really just like to erase it from my memory.

Dude. This has to be one of my weirdest things coming from me but...

I went in, my expectations below ten thousand. Maybe even below a hundred thousand. I basically watched it, so I could come to school and go "Ha! I told you it would suck monkey balls!"

And I came out of the theatre with a dumb grin and an increadible warmth in my heart. The Twilight Movie re-kindled the flame in my heart I though Breaking Dawn put out in me forever. I feel like I can defend the books again. I feel like a fan again. I want the soundtrack. I need the poster.

It was, beyond amazing. Beyond. And this is really really weird coming from me because if you knew anything about me it would be that I was vouching for the fans that said "No movie" from the very begining. So Maybe it was a good thing I was ready to hate. In fact, I don't think I would have liked it at all if I were all pumped and excited.

The music was amazing. Some people like movies for the soundtrack.... you would like Twilight. Amazing soundtrack. Amazing transitions. Bella's lulaby was played out perfectly. The begining was good. The scenery was freaking amazing. I didn't like how they ran, or all the flying and jumping, but whatever. Jasper was a cuttie. XD. Alice was beyond pefect. Just beyond. Rob did a fantastic job. He WAS Edward. He nailed him; it was realy good. Kristen... well, she was a really good actress. She was. I just don't like how she delivered any of her lines. It really bothered me. But I don't really care. The scene where Bella leaves Charlie.... oh man. I balled my eyes out. I was just weeping. It was so sad. Like, they honeslty pushed the right buttons. Speaking of Charlie, HE was amazing. Oh my did I love him. SO funny, and such a good father. In fact, he was the only one who I was wrong about. I didn't think he could do it, but holy crap did he ever. So perfect. The baseball scene..... ohhhh mannn. I was grining and singing along to the song playing cause it was just so AWESOME. It was sooo great. They did an amazing job. Beyond perfect.

So this is coming from possibly one of the biggest critics. I loved it. I saw it on Sunday and I am going into withdrawls. I need to see it again. And again. And possibly another ten times. Don't go in with expectations though. I know I would have been dissapointed. But Mannnn. SOOOOO good.

I am glad that you guys liked it cause I for one thought it sucked....

I did not like the acting... Rob was just angsty the whole time... Even when he was supposed to be happy with Bella. Kristen Stewart's emotions ranged from extremely bored to slightly bored. I mean really...And the whole meadow scene... I thought the point of the meadow scene was so that Edward and Bella could see if their relationship would be possible... But in the movie they just jumped into the relationship... I felt no romantic pull. It went from him wanting to suck her blood to them not talking to I will save your life to I wanna jump your bones... I mean really... There was no transition in their relationship and that was always something I admired from the books because you could actually feel the pull that Edward and Bella had to one another. And I am sorry but I do not recall Edward having THAT much trouble to stop sucking out her blood.... I remember him clearly telling Carlisle that the blood was clean and telling Bella she would be okay... That whole scene with him sucking out her blood... I mean really. WHAT WAS WITH THEIR EYES BEING CROSSED! Seriously. That was gay. If you see it again you will notice it and not be able to keep a laugh in cause those faces were ridiculous. And one more thing... There were so many scenes that got all jumbled up. I felt like they recorded each scene and shuffled the playlist they had all of them on and when they didn't have enough room on the disc to burn it they took some out... Alice and Jasper NEVER would have left Bella alone. Edward would have made sure of that becaust that is how much he cared for her.

All in all I was disappointed in the movie, but seeing as how I went into the movie expecting to be disappointed it wasn't really too bad. They could have done a whole lot worse, but they could have done better. I just hope and pray that the next ones will be better cause Lord knows I can talk bad about these movie as long as I want but I am still going to see them.
