August Rush Trailer

"August Rush" tells the story of a charismatic young Irish
guitarist (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) and a sheltered young cellist (Keri
Russell) who have a chance encounter one magical night above New York's Washington Square, but are soon torn apart, leaving in their wake an infant, August Rush, orphaned by circumstance. Now performing on the streets of New York and cared for by a mysterious stranger (Robin Williams), August (Freddie Highmore) uses his remarkable musical talent to seek the parents from whom he was separated at birth.



So I must say that this movie holds the top spot in my heart. It has since the first time I saw it.

It was pretty good.

The only good thing about this movie was the Irish guy...I'm a sucker for accents

Jonathan Rhys Meyers made my heart skip.

I just liked the whole thing... It was quirky and the acting wasn't horrible... Except Robin Williams creeped me out in the movie... *shudder*

Agreed, he still freaks me out.

It holds the top spot in my heart as well. The only problem is how is messes with your mind...what with the scene with the.....Well, you know.
And if you don't, you should.

I realise that the last time this thread was posted in was June 28th, but I loved this movie so much that I had to share my love of it. <3 Freddie Highmore was so cute and perfect in this movie, and the awesome that is Jonathon Rhys-Meyrs just put it over the top. This movie definitely holds a very special place in my heart. <3
