Please give me your opinion on my opinion:

Jace is not really the son of Valentine. I only believe this to be true because, in CoA, the only resemblance Jace was tied to Valentine by was their arrogance, and composure. Therefore I believe Jace is totally the son of someone else, and way just raised by Valentine, therefore picking up his mannerisms?

I actually kind of thought that he meant he wasn't talking about Jace. See i don't believe that they are related.
In CoB Luke said to Jocelyn that Clary wasn't Jonathan meaning what. Jonathan M. got turned into a monster and so Jocelyn didn't want Valentine to do the same thing to Clary.
And then in CoA when Clary said she wasn't a monster and neither was Jace then Valentine was all like "I wasn't talking about---" I think he was going to say he wasn't talking about Jace. Meaning what? Meaning Jace is NOT Valentine's son? Jace is Jonathan Wayland just like he thought all along?
Throughout the whole book their isn't a single PHYSICAL resemblence between Jace and Valentine. OH sure the personality thing is there. The way Valentine and Jace are arrogant. The way they present themselves. All that stuff they may have in common. But you have to remember Jace lived with Valentine for what. 10 years? So of course he would pick up on some of Valentines personality, its only natural.

I think that Jace is actually the Inquistors grandson, because her sons wife commited sucide, when she was 8 months pregent. And because of this she was buried not cremated.
Also CoA, there are alot of mentions about the scar on Jace's shoulder, which i think is the result Valentine performing a C-section.

Jace and Clary BOTH have that scar though. It's Valentine's star mark, remember? Clary mentions it in the greenhouse on her birthday that it was a chicken pox scar or something.

I kind of want them to stay related but also stay in love. I too, think there's enough proof to say that they're brother and sister. The above mentioned scar for instance. The fact that the fairy queen said they were siblings and fairies can't lie.

And why would Valentine care so much for Jace if he wasn't really his? He doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would take in someone else's son in charity and then raise them to be just like him. Valentine is cruel. He'd never do something nice like that.

But like I said before, I don't care if they're related or not. Jace and Clary MUST BE TOGETHER. I threw the book across the room at the "I'll just be your brother from now on" moment. Argh. March can't come fast enough.
