I just want to say that the beginning and end of the show crack me up lol. Yeah I know I was there when it was recorded, but it is even better a second time. Speaking of Princess Bride I really need to finish that book...lol

To start off, I must present a link to this lovely picture:
http://www.obeythepurebreed.com/images/chairman_meow_small.gif

my history teacher is obsessed with this image. He thinks is the most hilarious thing on the planet. I must say, I chuckled a bit.

Moving right along, about Alec and Jace, I think that what Jace says about Alec in the cookie is true. I just trust Jace’s connection with him to believe that Jace understand how Alec thinks and how he feels. I’m interested to see how the rest of the scene pans out. I know they won’t kiss (darn…) but hopefully something juicy will happen. I loved the discussion about these two characters. It's a really important and complex relationship and I love both of these characters.

Oh, another small detail. The contest that Cassie held last December was for 5 advance reader copies, or ARCs, of City of Ashes. The way the contest worked was that there were essentially 5 different contests. One was for a 200 word ficlet of a part of City of Bones from a different character’s perspective or a 200 word essay on why your ship was the best, 1 was for a piece of visual artwork, one was to take a picture of City of Bones in a unique location, one was a video contest of a trailer of scene from City of Bones and the last one was a miscellaneous category where you could do basically anything you wanted. You could enter as many contests as you wanted, but you could only enter each contest once. She picked one winner grand prize winner from each who won the ARC and a second and third place as well.

As far as whether or not Simon is a main character, I’m pretty sure that Cassie considers him a third lead. Of coarse, readers can interpret things like that however they want, I personally consider him a third lead as well.

As to who will die, Cassie says that a Lightwood is going to kick it in the third book. I seem to change my mind about who I think it is every other day.

That’s all I have to say, though I do want to say that this whole Breaking Dawn tour seems really lame. Like, I know they have the lead from Blue October and everything and it’s supposed to be this huge rock concert thing, but it seems so fake. There’s no intimacy whatsoever. There are even rules saying that she can’t talk to you, she can’t personalize anything, restrictions like that and I know it’s because she has so many fans and it’s just impractical, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s just seems impersonal. I’ve been to a lot of book signings and the best by far are the simplest ones.

Also, your guy’s bloopers went on forever, lol.

Great episode guys!

LoL WOW Thank you for all the input Smile

I personally heart bloopers, they make me giggle and are always my personal favorite out of all the things on different podcasts. I think when we make ours we try to focus in on each of our favorite things...

And I'm all about the bloopers baby!!! Trust me there is a TON more that you guys never get to hear. Most of us could probably be considered clinically insane - well at least I know I can Smile

Also for the record that picture is made of WIN - trust me thats a good thing hahahahahaha

Did Cassandra say that a Lightwood was going to kick the bucket? OMG you have to show me where LoL - Now I have to come up with a good theory as to whom it's going to be - how and why Laughing of course that will change on a daily basis too, but that's typical

And as far as the Breaking Dawn tour - I'm upset about it - but at the same point I understand it. She's warn out - she's tired, she's been touring and writing non-stop for the past 3-4 years, not to mention she's had to look over and watch an entire movie being made to assure that her vision isn't ruined in any way. So on top of the book she also has to do publicity for that when it comes out, so yeah the women has got to be tired. AND... AND on top of it all she has kids - so she has to deal with all of that stuff too. I think she deserves a break. Plus she is hitting 4 major cities and not just one side of the states this time - so thats a bonus.

Blah I'll shut up now, as you can see I have a tendency to ramble - but Megs marvelous editing skills cover that fact up - well mostly - she's not a miracle worker after all
lol!

Hmmm... I was under the impression that she was a miracle worker Kaylee.... I mean someone with a name as awesome as hers must be amazing... XP

But yes.... Another funny podcast... When you guys were trying to remember the cat's name I was screaming at computer saying "It's Chairman Meow! It's Chairmen Meow!" ... lol

But now I am eager for the chapter by chapter discussions... I am ready for some theories. Very Happy

Oh the other day my mom sent me a link with those Chairman Meow pics like the one you linked Cyndy. Of course she had no idea about the City of Bones cat and looked at me weird when I just started laughing.

I'm not really bothered that she's only doing 4 stops (since I live in Seattle), and I completely agree that she deserves a break, I just didn't like the whole "commercialization" of it for lack of better terms. It's inevitable because of the popularity, but it still feels unauthentic in a way. Maybe if it wasn't so overblown. But, I can't change it, so I'm not going to dwell on it.

For the record, I love bloopers too.
