I think it might be Alec too. It would be sad but it fits I guess.

I also have a theory that Sebastion is another one of Velentine's "experiments". You know how Clary dreamt of him with wings...maybe he does...have..wings... lol I don't know, that might be far-fetched but it just popped into my head the other day.

I don't know. I think that everything Valentire says is complete crap.

I think that he's been brain washing Jace, I mean - the whole thing with Jace and the Inquisitor before she died. She knew something but never got to tell Jace. I think that was probably really important.

And the same thing with the queen of the Seelie Court, why on earth would she have Jace to ask Valentine what blood ran through is veins? And Valentine completely did not answer the question when Jace asked. NOT good enough anyway.

It's just like we've been given pieces of a puzzle but we don't know where to plug them into yet.

So very frusterating.

So it's been tossed around a lot the whole Val not necessarily being Jace's father thing, but trying to get him over to his side so that he can take advantage of Jace's ninja powers for his goal.

I would think that if he did experiments somehow on Clary that he'd take more of an interest in her? probably will in CoG. As a villain, I would like... keep a planner of all the people's lives I'd torn apart and messed with, y'know? He doesn't seem to care much about her in CoA or CoB much except that she's in his way.

but then again, I guess if he figured out she'd been with Joclyn all this time, he'd be all "Oh damn, too late to corrupt her, so I'll just annoy her with my ebil activities"

This may be out of the ball park and I believe someone else already brought this up but my own theory so far is that Jace may be related to Imogen the Inquisitor, as in he's probably Stephen's son from his second wife.

I'm not done reading CoA but I was getting hints from other people who've read it. Someone mentioned about her having some sort of smile on her face before she dies so hmm...

Needless to say I'll be reading both CoB and CoA again sometime next year as the time draws closer for CoG to be released.

Does anybody else see Clary totally falling for Sabastien because Jace isnt around. And Clary is thinking "well, I am not related to Sebastien, and I am to Jace. So It's all gooood" Then they find out that they actually are NOT related. And then Clary has to chose between Sabastien and Jace.

Last night my aunt and I planned out part our version of CoG - in jest, of course.

Basically, Magnus will find some nice new mythical hottie to not grow old with him forever and ever. So he's out of the Alec picture.

As for Sebastain, he will be be good -GASP! Clary will fall for him of course, and run to him for guidance and comfort when she needs it. Eventually in a moment of weakness she will try to kiss him and he will push her away like a gentleman. Hurt and confused, she will get it in her head that he is in league with Valentine, but doesn't want to be, and that him pushing her away was a way to warn her. Some life threatening stuff will happen and it will come out that he isn't working for Valentine, but he is in fact gay.

Him and Alec will live happily ever after.

I'm picturing that...Sebastian and Alec...together...making out....

Since whatever it was that the Inquisitor said to Jace will most likely come up again in CoG, anyone have ideas on what it is? I can't really think of anything, 'cause there are so many things she could have said. Heck, for all we know she said that mutant llama-chickens are going to take over the world next Tuesday!

Although I seriously doubt that's what she said, it's possible.

But whatever she DID say, yeah was like one of the many optimal things we missed out on. Maybe that's one of the main things that's bothering Jace and making him get all angry jerk on everyone because he's trying to figure out WHAT IT MEANS.

^Yeah, that could definitely be why. And would also be comforting because it gives a reason why he's acting that way towards Clary (and everyone else).

Ugh, I just wish it was easier to guess what she said. Because you want it to be something about his bloodlines, but that just seems too predictable almost.

and it's hard to come up with anything else.
