Just going to put it like this, some people feel like they are being more polite - like myself - for using the spoiler boxes. Because yeah they might want to get the basic feeling of what everyone sort of is saying about the book good or bad BUT they might not want to know exact details of what happened like scenes and what not.

At times before I read a book I will check out different spoiler pits and discussions to just to find out what the basic MOOD and FEELING people are having, but I prefer if the details about specific moments and scenes are put in spoilers as I don't want to know the exact scenes or what happened in them. So the way I see it, the spoiler boxes are just polite, and curious, period. You may not feel that way, understandable.

It is a personal preference and I get where both of you are coming from, yes this topic is called "Spoiler Pit" but it is still a PERSONAL digression if the spoiler boxes are going to be used or not. Not really something to get annoyed or upset about, just like I am not going to be annoyed or upset with you because you chose NOT to use them, again PERSONAL digression.

BACK ON TOPIC!!! Because guess what - this isnt the ranting section, that is in an entirely different area and you are more than welcome to use it if you feel the need xD

Good question on the Renwicks, I was sort of lost for a moment when I read that too, since it was not a main place in the book that really stuck out in my mind. But now that you say it was where Valentine took Jace it does ring a bell

But anyways... I was completely confused and I blanked out when I saw renwick's. I'm like... I know this place but I couldn't remember where. But then I'm like OOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I remember, That took like 10 brain cells for me too remember lol. I rememvered it had to do with Valentine and Jace, so my brain had a light bulb moment . Than again, I was half dead reading it the first time so it didn't really recognize it but then rereading it, I was just like

You weren't at all my friend. You didn't say anything at all that was rude. But let's forget about that and talk about stuff that actually matters than me PMSing and bitching .

I thought the ending of the book was absoulutely PERFECT. It was a great waay to tie it all up in a little bow. Even though we still had some questions that Cassie would probably answer for us now. I kind of found a newborn respect for simon, I mean, he practically sacrificed himself to try and help everybody else, But the little tricked he pulled with the cross was kind of badass. But the vampire rockstar line.... . Oh Jace, How I love your sarcasticness and amazing humor.

I loved the ending of the book too, but feel like the epilouge should have been the last chapter, and then the epilouge could have been like a year later, or something...because I want to know how everyone turns out!

After reading a series of books, I always walk away with a feeling that something wasn't quite right. It varies from one series to another, but the ending of CoG we just really well put together and there wasn't much I wasn't happy with. Like Alexa said, I really am interested in the aftereffects of Simon's rune. The concept is really depressing and I just wondered how CC would have handled that.

Who doesn't want to see more Clary/Jace scenes? hehe

I would certianly like more Jace/Clary scense...Alec and Magnus anyone?

Oh, I feel terrible. How could I forget about Alec and Magnus? I honestly fell in love with Magnus, he just stole so many scenes. And now the Lightwoods' parents have to deal with their son dating a man and a downworlder. Oh yus. hehe

I really liked the book, especially with the truckload of twists and turns... BUT. I do have a few GIGANTIC complaints:

Am I the only one who wanted to rip out all of the pages at the end of the book and tell Cassandra Clare to rewrite it? Jace changed to the point of ridiculousness. I liked him in the "To love is to destroy" era in an unbelievable quantity, but then, at the end, I was just like, "NOOOOOOO! Jace, you CAN'T be like that!!" I get the fact that Clary bringing him back to life was a huge thing for him, but I wanted him to stay the same as he was before. I feel like the sarcastic cruelty was completely gone - and with it, his best, most amazing characteristic. He got really annoying, just like most of the other main guy characters in the other books I've read, and even when they start out amazing, they get all annoying at the end anyway! Like my beloved Ash Redfern (Night World)...

	I really would have liked to have seen more Alec/Magnus togetherness except for that one tiny scene. When I read it, I was just like, "FINALLY!!" and then was disappointed when there were no more like it. :/

I was actually really depressed about the ending. The whole Queen Of The Seelie Court thing pretty much came completely out of left field, like it was sort of pointless and I didn't exactly know why Miss Clare included it. I really wanted to know what would become of the rune Clary put on Simon, and I would have liked to have seen the whole dying/being brought back to life thing from Jace's perspective. ALSO -- I almost threw the book at the wall when Jace made that little joke about the pink and brown drinks. It was FAR, FAR, FAR, FAR too good natured to be anywhere near something Jace would say, and although I laughed for about a millisecond, I very nearly cried as well. ):

Overall, City Of Bones was, by far, the most amazing. They all sort of went in order of my favorites - CoB, CoA, and then CoG.

I'm back, people, and I kind of understand what you mean, xvalentinesassassinx. He's kind of.. changed, but I do like it.. somehow. ^^
