Well, Mundy, the next CC books aren't due out until March of 2010. If you can believe it. It will be the first book in the Infernal Devices series called The Clockwork Princess. TID are about a warlock girl named Tessa who goes to London and is torn between two Nephilim boys. (I so suck at summaries. The press release is at theinfernaldevices.com) I really can't wait to read them! Hope that helped.

“I know,” Jem said. “But really, Will — again?”

This is the first of CC books that i have read, has anyone read others of her series? I am worried not that the book will be bad, I know it will be good! But will it end the way we, or I, expect? Is she the type of author that will give a happy ending? I'm starting to get so scared that I will want to through the book at the end. affraid

She gave out ARCs of the first Clockwork Princess chapter at the CT signing last week. I was a little nervous about it -- it's definately different -- but the writing style is the same and it's still very interesting so far. So I'm sure we'll all love it just as much as TMI, just probably in a different way. I love you

I was worried when I started reading it that it would be another Breaking Dawn, but NOPE! I adore it. Slow at first, but it eventually gets all epic lol.

I personally think CoG lived up to expectations. I can understand that Cassandra Clare couldn't put a lot of the witty banter that Jace and Clary had in the first 2 books because the circumstances are more serious in the third book. If there's a war on, you tend to be more morose. But I think the other characters more than made up for it. Magnus, Alec and Simon provided a lot of hilarious breaks.
I loved the deeper characterizations of Luke, Jocelyn and Valentine in this book.

The blogs showed that there's a fourth book called City of Fallen Angels. It will be about Simon. Another good thing to look forward to!
