How excited are you? I know I'm excited, kind of like when the last Harry Potter book came out and I read straight through and hit the last chapter and didn't pick it up for a week because I didn't want that feeling that knows there is no more...

I know what you mean about harry potter. After I was done reading it, I was like, ugh now what. Hopefully it won't be like that with this series as Cassandra is planning on writing more books in the world, just different characters and all. So we have those stories to look forward to after CoG.

OMG I cried when I first opened the last Harry Potter book, before I even read a single word. I thought "This is it. A part of my life is at an end". It was seriously depressing.

Of course, that didn't stop me from devouring the book in a day.

I feel the same way about all of my favorite series' though. I can't wait to read the last book. Yet, when I finally have finished the series I am very sad. It's like losing a best friend. And I realize that makes me sound like a total loner, but it's how I feel.

My only solution to the void a finished series leaves is by becoming obsessed with yet another series. The Mortal Instruments and Twilight have helped me get past my HP withdrawls...so I imagine I'll have to find a new series to latch on to in the not so distant future.

Thank god for Twilight and Mortal instruments as I also was left with a void after Hp ended last summer.

Also thanks to Kaylee as she has suggested some books that I can keep my interest and help fill that void Smile

I think I am SUPER excited - but also super afraid all at the same time. I mean the last HP book nearly KILLED ME!!

No seriously I cried like a baby for mutlitple reasons:

1 - It was the last book in the series and the ending of an era

2 - All of the RANDOM deaths - I mean was Fred really necessary - REALLY?!?! *cries just thinking about it*

3 - When I finished because I knew that I would never have another new adventure in Harry's world.

So I think the end of this series may kill me as well. Just because I've obviously gotten myself so involved into the series almost to the same point as HP. I just hope Cassandra is nicer to us than J.K. was
Very Happy

Yeah, I don't think I could take it if people start dying in this, what would happen if Alec died? Or Simon? oh my I need to stop thinking about this before I break down

JK got me early in HP7 as the death that hit me the hardest was Hedwig...I guess it was expected as he couldn't have an owl around but that death struck me really hard as Hedwig has been around throughout all the books. Especially how Hedwig's cage exploded...yikes.

I'm not as worried in MI series as Cassandra really hasn't killed off any major characters yet. I mean by the last HP book, we lost Sirius and Dumbldore. But since she hasn't killed anyone big yet...it leads me to believe that we may end up losing some in CoG. As always only time will tell.

I'm not entirely confident that a major character won't get killed off in MI. Of course, I don't want it to happen to any character because I love them all like family (well, except Val). But, just because Cassandra hasn't killed anyone major yet doesn't mean she won't in the third book

**coughGemmaDoyleTrilogycough**

I'm still mourning.

I think that if anyone major dies in CoG, I will curl up in a small ball in the corner, sobbing for days on end Sad I can't even think about it.

THERE WILL BE NO CRYING!!! You know why? because no one is going to die and if they do I will assume it's a whole mess of typos
