Haha. XD. Well excitement is good but it hasn't hit yet. And you know what? Cassandra is slowly becoming one of my favourite authors. why? because she talks. And she gives us the goods. Stephanie was good too but after New Moon it has all been super hush hush. JK completly failed in that department. didnt tell us nothing. XD but cassandra? The book is a year away and she already gave us the first chapter! And the cover!

I went through and deleted some posts in this thread - we don't mind some off topic discussion, but please try to keep on subject as much as possible. We also have a section for dicussions on other books on the forums.

And please remember rule number 2 - I do consider small posts that are not adding to the topic of discussion spam and we do delete them.

Oh. Sorry Kaylee! ^^; Will keep that in mind in the future. But can I just say this real quick, because of you, and only you, and your sig and avatar, I am now a proud owner of Scream. Tokio Hotel's album. Not only that, but I am now a huge fan! Bill is a babe! And Tom is amazing as well! Gosh.... I love those boys so much.

And it's all thanks to you! Very Happy

Though I wish they sold their German albums here. I like them so much better than the English...

I'm excited and terrified at the same time.
I am SO. SCARED. I have this feeling that someone's going to die. If it's Alec, Magnus, Simon, or Jace, I am 99.99999999% certain that I WILL cry. It just makes sense to me to kill off a character that everyone's come to love in the last book. Just the type of thing an author would do. -coming from an author-
Hm... maybe Magnus dies and Alec gets all angsty. I would totally cry, but that would be a good idea. -fanfiction idea-

EDIT: Ooh! -just got hands on tidbit that says a Lightwood would die- I really think that Alec... -can't say it-
I think Alec will end up taking down a baddie with him. Maybe just a demon, or maybe even Valentine. Or he severely wounds a baddie (preferably Valentine), then dies, leaving a horridly ticked off Jace to finish the baddie off.
There are so many ways to kill a character 0_o I actually tossed around the suicide idea in my head before banishing it. I can't picture any of the MI characters doing that, though. -is literally starting to fantasize about who will die-

What!! really! I never got that tibdit. I'm shocked! ( I will need to find this tibdit)

As for the City of Glass, I am uber excited.
I don't think the Cassandra Clare will do random killings like in the HP series because she knows it would disapointment to all her devoted reader, and I mean who else gives us cookies and the first chapter way before the book even comes out. She even takes time to daily update all of her blogs, her facebook and myspace..she is even a member of a few facebook groups. I think it's pretty clear that the City of Glass will not disapoint. As long as we don't fantasize to much and get out selves worked up over the novel. Alot of that was probably the problem with the ending of HP and Twilight series, everyone got them selves soo worked up and visulized how they wanted the series to end and once they read the last books they coudn't get past what they wanted the last book to be like. I suggest folks that we all crawl into a nice cozy cave/igloo and have a nice long nap untill City of Glass comes out silent

I'm excited OMG!

It would be sad if any of the characters died T_T. I keep reading the last part of City of Ashes where Jace is seeing his mother for the first time and I started crying when the Inquestidor person lady came up to clary and told her how she knew how to wake her mother up. I was so depressed that I couldn't go to the store and buy City of Glass I locked myself in my room and read City of Bones and Ashes all in one night.

www.mundiesource.net has a counter on their home page. I have a count in mah siggie, but sometimes I miss a day or two when it comes to updating it, so that one's your best bet. The time zone might not always be accurate, though - I have to remember that it's two hours ahead of my clock.

OMFG!!! 11 days! Holy crap, I've had a countdown on my board since day 99!!! eeeeeeeeee I can't believe its so close! none of my friends have read the book and they know when its coming out just because of me! hahaha :] AHHH i'm so pumped for this...but i'll read it all in one day, and i'll be sad when it's done :[

Wow. I've waited for this book to come out since may. I remember the EXACT day and time i got it. Why? Because I got it on the day The Host came out. I had at the time waited for the host to come out for 2 months count down and everything. and I decided, why the heck not? and on a whim bought both CoB and CoA.

May 6th, 9:30 pm right after gymnastics. XDDDD. LOL.

And now, the book is coming out TOMORROWWWW.

I WOULD say, 6 hours, but that would be rather silly. I don't know about Borders or anything, but Chapters sure as hell isn't holding a midnight bash -- I'm gonna have to wait until a reasonable hour tomorow for the place to open, and then for me to finish school. So really, saying 6 hours is just stupid. So I will say.... TOMMOOORRROOOOWWWW OMGG. cheers
