So I finally finished reading CoB and I got hooked line and sinker into the whole story, especially in regards to Clary and Jace when suddenly I get towards the climax of the story and bam they're WHAT?! Shocked

So now I'm like I want to so much read CoA yet I don't..I'm screwed.

I know I'll have to read the second book, I can't just not do that and deep down I'm picturing myself pleading on my knees and hoping that Cassandra has written a happy ending for these two characters.

I'd like to hope there's a rainbow for Clary and Jace. flower

I think we all had that kind of moment after reading the end of CoB. It only gets better after reading CoA...but be warned as CoG is far off lol (wait, i was saying that about breaking dawn and it's less than 3 weeks away now!!!). Scratch that. CoG will be here before you know it Smile

On Jace and Clary, again, i think we're all hoping things work out between the two in the end.

Yeah I agree about the Breaking Dawn thing coming really quickly, I will be very mad if Cassandra dosn't get Clary and Jace together they are MENT to be!I am worried about this new character *shiver* he better not mess things up between Clary and Jace....or else Evil or Very Mad

I think for me, you can agree to this or not but I'm tired of picking up a book lately and excpecting a happy ending for the characters i.e Libby books? and to get stabbed in the heart cuz one of them dies or something that makes me want to vent and just go WTF!!! for a long time.

So hopefully that doesn't happen but we'll just have to see.

OMG I know what you mean about the Libba Bray books - the ending to that series like KILLED ME!! Like I found myself reading the end of the last book over and over again just to make sure I didn't miss something, only to find out I hadn't.

But we can talk about that in the thread I made for that series in the books section *nods*

Honestly I think all of us have our fingers crossed hoping that Clary and Jace will end up together. I just have this really strong feeling that Cassnadra is going to make me fall in love with yet another character. So then once I am at the end I will be torn about who I want to end up with who.

After all she does seem to have a flair for doing that - Clary/Simon - Clary/Jace - Alex/Jace - Alex/ Magnus. So who knows what we will get in the end, lets just hope that no one gets turned into a tree *nods*

Madame Dorothea reads Jace's tea leaves and predicts he's going to fall in love with the wrong girl and Jace is in love with Clary. I hate it when a writer says one thing only to contradict him/herself a few pages or books later. I feel cheated, so CC better stay true to that prophecy, not to mention it'd fit her writing style better if she didn't chicken out and take the easy way out instead of the tough one.

I'm quite fed up with all the soppy happy ending stories and I believe CC has included enough plot twists in her story already and I can't see how she can convincingly weasel herself out of the whole Jace-and-Clary-are-related-thing. This series rocks up to now and I'd hate to see it turn into a soap opera. CoA and the whole romance drama has ruined Jace's character enough. Jace sould find someone new and I hope Clary will fall for Sebastian. I was rooting for her and Simon but she obviously can't bring herself to romantical love him.

If CC hadn't bring in the whole related thing I'd be the most hardcore J/C shipper out there but now I strongly believe CC should stick to the impossible romance between J/C and have Jace stay back in Idris and Clary take over the Institute or something and be among her friends, Simon and Luke, and her mother and potentially her true soulmate.

^Couldn't Madame Dorothea's "you will fall in love with the wrong girl" reading just foreshadow the fact that we find out Clary and Jace are related? That's what I thought. After all, reading tea leaves isn't an infallable art -- she could make mistakes, and it could turn out that they aren't related.

I'm still hanging on to the hope that there's some way that Cassandra will find to explain that the J/C 'ship can live without it being incest. My friend and I keep coming up with theories to explain this, and we won't give up hope. =) I just think her and Jace are too good together to not be destined to be together. Isabelle always says that Clary brings out the best in Jace and everything, and it would just break his heart ... when he never thought he could even have a heart like that. It's so heartbreaking that their story must work out. Maybe I'm just crazy to believe that.
