Seelie Court=BEST PART OF CoA!

First time they kissed in CoA. I remember thinking to myself, YES! THEY KISS IN FRONT OF SIMON! In your FACE! She doesn't want to kiss youuuuuuuu she'd rather kiss her brother because she LOVES HIM NOT YOU!

I actually shouted that last bit while reading. My brother, Stephen, was like, "Cynthia? Is there a problem that I should be notified of?"

Least favorite scene I would have to say is anything with Simon and the last scene with Jace and Clary in the restaurant. Usually I LOVE anything with Jace and Clary (somewhat) alone together, but this one was really really bad. Depressing. If Jace let Clary speak first, NONE of that would have happened. Probably. Because I'm pretty sure that Jace isn't really over his feelings for Clary. It's just not going to happen. At least, it better not....

OoO, the bar scene was deffinilty intense. It really displayed Jace's Teenaged Angst ( that reminds me..Wizard Angst anyone?) My over all favourite was most certianly the Seelie Court, it was really intense and poor Simon how he must have felt!


The "Jaces Bedroom" scene was most deffinilty a disapointment because just as Jace is spilling out his feelings for Clary, she decided to put up a brick wall and shut him down. Even though we all know she's in love with him to. I think that the scene at Taki's just shows how Clary was getting a "taste of her own medicine" so to speak. It was kind of like She shut him down so Jace was returning the favour. (I don't mean in the sence that Jace was getting revenge but he thought that's what she wanted, so he gave it to her and sometimes getting what you want. Hurts.)

Everyone is going to call me a sissy for this, but that Alec-and-Magnus-in-the-truck-after-Alec-almost-drowned scene nearly reduced me to tears. As with most things, it's one of those feelings I can't put in to words. But that didn't stop me from reading that part over and over again.

Any AlecxMagnus scene I loved. The whole Seelie court chapter - mind you, that includes the part at Magnus's apartment, not just the court - I adored. Plenty of humor in that one.

Personally, I have an odd obsession for whenever Jace is playing the piano. I just feel like that's when he's not being all tough, and not trying to put up any sort of front. I mean, come on. It's hard to look tough while playing Mozart. And I'm sure it also makes him think of his childhood, when his father taught him, which in itself is another emotional mess. (That portal piece? I gasped. She did NOT go there.)

Loki, I was going to mention the scene-in-the-truck too, where he chooses Magnus over helping Jace, but you seem to have covered it admirably.

Fave scenes: Seelie Court, and in the Institute after the kiss where Clary says a really stupid thing.

Least favourite scene: when Simon refers to Clary as his girlfriend. It made me cringe.

my fav. was when clary and jace end up together i think is towards the end of the book n they kiss obviously not knwing they r bro n sis but it was cute or when they were at the institute n told her boldly that she looked hot! n put her hair down before going to magnus party

My fave was totally the AlecxMagnus scene on the Aquatruck (is that not the awesomest name ever?). Up until then I always imagined Magnus as kinda only doing the whole relationship thing with Alec for fun, but then I was like 'awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww'!

As you can tell, I ADORE AlecxMagnus.

My least fave scene? I'm going to get killed for this, but that would have to be the Seelie Court scene. Poor Simon! I don't like JacexClary, anyways. Clary can do SO much better, I say.

Okay, bring on the JacexClary fangirls. I have a chainsaw. I can take you.

i do love alecxmagnus also...i really hope that they get their chance in CoG....

Alec/Magnus are epic though. They are so adorable.
Anyway...fav scene?
The one with the fearless rune is tied with the Alec/Magnus scene on the truck.

I liked the Seelie Court thing because it proved to Jace that Clary definately still loved him.

And then the whole battle part till the end of the book was awesome. I have a feeling we'll appreciate certain things more than others by CoG, if you know what I mean... Inquisitor's last words, anyone?

Least favorite would probably be anything where Clary had to put on an act to please Simon. I love Simon, don't get me wrong, but not with Clary as a boyfriend. I hate it how she always felt like she had to stop what she was doing just to make him feel included.

I have to say that my favorite scene was in Jace's bedroom the way CC explains it down to Jace's pants being so low, it makes you feel like your watching from the window. I almost cried. But the best part of that whole scene to me was when Clary said that Jace tripped ,Jace who never does anything less than gracefully, tripped.

My other favorite scene is when they go to institute and Jace takes Maxes glasses off(that scene.)

One other part that I loved but kind of hated too was after the ship sank and Jace, Clary, and Simmon were in back of pickup, and sun in about to come up, and Simmon is telling Clary how he loves her, I love it b/c so dramatic and beautiful, hate it b/c I wish it was Jace talking to Clary and that they weren't related. That makes me even madder(but different book).

Well I 'awwwed' at the scene where alec offers his strength to magnus, not overly cheesy at all, subtle but really adorable at the same time.
