Okay, so I was goofing off in English class and being bored on wikipedia and what do I discover...

You got me all hoppin there for a second or so, but then I read 'wikipedia' and deflated like a million sizes, that site can be manipulated by just about anyone, hell its even forbidden in our school to extract information from there cause its not really reliable xD
It's probably just someone messing with our brains, wouldn't Cassandra post something on her livejournal if she would write another book to the mortal instruments trilogy?
Is wikipedia the only site that posted this? And if it is actually a big fib, which it most likely is, the person that did it is very very mean xD

Although I do remember reading in some interview that IF she made a 4th book it would probably be about simon, but there the heck did the title city of christal come from? O.o

Yeah, I know Wiki can be manipulated, but I look at it this way. MI was a HUGE cash cow for Cassandra, wouldn't you continue it? I would, if only to keep my loyal readers happy.

Plus the release date is 2011. Plenty of time for Cassandra to confirm or deny the rumor.

And if I may gently remind readers, the title of this post is "Possible 4th MI Book".

Otherwise, I only posted it because I was curious to see what everyone else thought.

If so then *Hops around like mad* I would soooooo love a super-hero Simon book, he would be all 'I am a badass, and I recognize that you, too, are a badass' *flails*. But it's more likely that IF there would be a fourth one, it would be a standalone and not directly a part of the trilogy.


Would love to be optimistic but my malfunctioning brain cant handle it, if only that someone that wrote that would give us the source page they got the info from *claws at my face* Now I must go interview hunting.

I'm not sure if I would want a fourth book in the series, I agree with CrispyCheese about having a stand alone book, maybe one about them in the future!

I feel as if in the three novels or wonderfull characters have been through alot and that sticking another action packed book in there might just push them over the edge.

It'd be so cute if there was like an Epilogue that revisited all of the characters a few months or a year or so later!

Or, for those so inclined, Cassie has said that she would like to publish a graphic novel about their lives after CoG. It could be the manga/GN/comic/Whatever, this mysterious City of Christal.
