ok, this description is ripped right offa Cassandra's google group. I think she mentioned some details there that she hadn't mentioned before. Or maybe she had and im just a little behind -.- Anyway:

City of Angels takes place after the events of City of Glass. It
splits its focus between Jace and Clary and Clary’s best friend,
Simon, and how he adjusts to life as a vampire, but it’s still an
ensemble-cast story, and all the characters from the Mortal
Instruments series appear in it: Isabelle, Alec, Magnus, Luke,
Jocelyn, Maia, and many more. (It even helps to have read The
Clockwork Angel before you read CoFA, because some of the characters
from the ID series do show up in it. However, it isn’t required.) In
City of Fallen Angels, someone’s killing the Shadowhunters who used to
be in Valentine’s Circle and leaving their bodies around New York City
in a manner designed to provoke hostility between Downworlders and
Shadowhunters. Internecine warfare among vampires is ripping the
Downworld community apart, and only Simon — the Daylighter who
everyone wants on their side — can decide the outcome; too bad he
wants nothing to do with Downworld politics. Meanwhile Jace and Clary
investigate a mystery that has deeply personal consequences for them —
consequences that may strengthen their relationship, or rip it apart
forever. Love, blood, betrayal and revenge: the stakes are higher than
ever in City of Fallen Angels.

UGH!!! I HATE HER!!! I'MA CRY! NOOOOO!! THE LIGHTWOODS AND LUKE AND JOCEYLN WERE CIRCLE MEMBERS!! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I know, I sorta cringed when I read that part, I'm majorly hoping that the culprit who's responsible somehow just managed to kidnap the former circle members and clone their bodies or something. I'm kinda skeptic about Cassandra just killing them off like that. there's gotta be something else to it. There better be.

While I wouldn't comment on Jace and Clary, the happiness thereof, I
will say that there's lots of Isabelle — she and Simon are working out
what their relationship is, and she tells him some things about
herself that I hope illuminate her character.

And also, someone asked if COFA has some spoilers for infernal devices, this is what cassandra answered:

CoFA has one real spoiler for ID that I can think of, so yes. I mean,
the books are really meant to be read in the order they're published,
though I know plenty of people will skip TCA and wait for COFA. There
are also a lot of details in CoFA that won't spoil ID for you, but
would be a lot more interesting if you had read ID. For instance, the
plot point that Alec looks like Will.

Aaaaah!I really have to read CoFA!!!!When I read about Jace and Clary the first thing that came to my mind was "are they really not siblings?" and "would it be that Jace is possibly Valentine's son in deed?" or maybe "Jace killed someone who was important to Clary and pissewd her off"

Not Isabelle and Simon,please!He's way better with Maia!I really hope their DR is only about how they don't work together. TMI was one of the few stories where I didn't have any shipper deception I really hope CC doesn't mess up

City of Fallen Angels starts about eight weeks after City of Glass
ends, so you do get to see how Jace and Clary get along in a
relationship (just fine, basically.) However, outside events start
putting stressors on their relationship — and, you know, it's Jace and
Clary, so these are not the normal sort of stressors but the epic
sort.

Simon has his own love problems, and there is also the addition of a
new character who may present a love interest for an existing
character.

Magnus and Alec are doing fine until someone from Magnus' past shows
up.

Anwyay, le gasp

1.) Alec looks like Will 'cause they're related! (I think!)

2.) Simabelle! YAYAYAYAAYAYAYAYAYY! I love them together! I like Izzy a lot and I hope she tags him!

3.) Since the book is a lot about vampires, I think the 'person from Magnus's past' is going to be Camille. They dated in ID and she's the head of the NYC vampire clan. I can't wait to see Alec tear her hair out. She treats Mags like SHIT. (I've heard from CC anyway...)

In COFA, Simon will tell his mother he's a vampire. Sadly, it isn't going so well. She chases him out and paints the house up with religious symbols to keep him out.

Also, apparently, in the 'romantic journey' around the world pics... Magnus will be wearing a sari.
