So, sorry for all the inactiveness of the hosts. Lives have been getting busy and mine is pretty chaotic. But here I am and Kaylee probably will show up soon.

Anyways, City of Glass has been released and if you don't have it then go get it! I have just purchased my copy and am about to read it. Felt I'd post here first before I go on a squeeage or angry rampage later.

I read the summary and it sounds good. The only thing that dampened my excitement is the Stephanie Meyer's praise on the cover. Now I do like her books, but I am anti-Twilight at the moment due to all the overly obsessed fans. Also, I have a small fear that some of those fans will start reading the Mortal Instrument series. Hopefully they are the sane fans...Anyways....going to go read! No more ranting in this happy thread xD

I trully understnd your feelings - maybe I didn't look carefully at the cover art once released before, but when I am admiring my bought copy, I was so shocked at the cover quote. "Why go so explicit for the marketing tactic...?" I found that quite troubling indeed.

It often happens, when you discover a book that's is good but not overwhelmingly popular yet, you are proud of your taste. You really want the good writer to be successful but you know all the crazy trend following fans upcoming would ruin the book atmosphere. But cheer up here! Those awful-ending-book-in-a-series curse will not be happening as COG is out.
