haha well in that case proceed to twilight.

really they're not bad. they're good for what they are. I'm just not into them like I used to be.

they're actually pretty good when you read them the first time. then after awhile, you find... other books that are better.

I'm just tired of seeing little scene freshmen girls walking around in Twilight shirts everyday. stay away!

Actually, the first time you read it you will LOVE the books. And by love, I mean "OHH MTTT GOOOOD" kind of love. However, after a while, it depends. You might still LOVE them, or you might not but still appreiciate them. OR you might even go the haters way. -rolls eyes-

Who knows right? But considering you being a guy, Breaking Dawn will suck for you. D: I didn't mind 90% of the book being fluuff cause I love fluff, but you won't. XD. lol.

And actually, I want one of those T-shirts. Like, badly. Cause they look real cool. Just the format of it. Like, it doesn't SCREAM "HIII!!! I am a teeny bopper! And I am amazing like the Jonas Bro's and like Hannah Montana because my greatest fans are 12-year olds!!!!!"

XD. I doesn't. Which is great. The tees that I've seen are the movie ones and they look dark, and creepy, and that's amazing. But true... some tee's don't belong anywhere other than a SM signing.

^haha the ones I've seen at my school... they're pretty bad.

And yeah, they're really really good when you read them. and then later, maybe not so much.
I used to love them, and now I appreciate that they were really good when I liked them. I probably wouldn't defend them to someone at this point, but i know that they were a really good read when I was still into them.

^ Twilight is weird like that. I do have to admit, I was basically a twilight groupie at first, but then my love from them just descended. I never went to the extent of getting a t-shirt, I was close though, but didn't (very happy now that I didn't). Now, I can understand why they're good, and why people like them alot, they're just not on my top ten in favourites anymore.

^haha did you see what Jane had to post on the twilight thread at pandemonium? because that girl was getting mad at us. and she was like 'this is to discuss positives and negatives'. I was like 'oh you just got pwned.'

haha yeah twilight has become such a touchy subject. the lovers vs. the 'not so much'-ers Wink

big kisses to the lovers because I still love you haha. i've joined the not so much-ers.

^ Yeah I jsut saw what she wrote, and I was like "ohhh snap". I have nothing against other peoples opinions, but just like you, I'm on the "not so muchers" side Razz and if you like em, keep on loving them! There's a reason why their popular Razz

So um... its probably going to be really weird to hear this from me haha.

but i've been reading the Midnight Sun chapters and... i actually really really like them. its incredibly interesting to see his thoughts and why he changes emotions so often. and it makes bella more likeable because you're not constantly following her. heh.
i thought the thing about Charlie's mind was really interesting.

don't get me wrong. this isn't going to make me go TWWIIIIIIILLLLLLLIIIIIIGGGGGGGHHHHHHHT!! (in a strangled yell) yeah no. haha. i'm still not into the series. but MS is a really good read, even with the mistakes.

which just makes me mad. that SM isn't going to finish when she said she would. stuff gets leaked all the time. that doesn't get postponed. i mean, she knows what the ending is. its not too hard to follow the exact same storyline. but oh well.

I don't know, Meyer really is hurting. And she has every right to. If I was an author and I was writting a book and suddenly 256 pages were leaked, I'd probably throw my computer against a wall and go "Fuck this and Fuck you. You ain't getting any more from me." It doesn't matter that we know the ending, it's still her book. And she is still an artist in a way that she created that book. And her unfinished baby was let out into the world unfinished. I don't blame her for stopping. I'd be pissed as hell as well. But I was sad that she stopped, which is why I read Midnight Sun.

And yeah. Oh yeah. My obssesion with Twilight ended in June I think. Now what does that mean? It means that my feelings on Twilight are like yours. "Not so much-ers" as you put it. But unlike you, I refuse to say negative comments where they are undeserved [as in Breaking Dawn and Eclipse are fully deserved to be drowned in negative comments]. New Moon is still my most favourite book in the entire world. And if I am sick, or I am just feeling off, I wip out New Moon and can open to any page and read it. Sure, I won't go "oh my gosh this is amazing and oh my gosh and oh my goshhhhh!!!! ahhhh! I have to read this!!!" XD. I probably won't even finish it. But it's still my favourite book in the entire world. But Twilight was always a little iffy for me. Edward pissed me off in the begining like you wouldn't belive. I'd be like "wtf!??!!! What kind of answer is THAT?! What the hell?!?!?!" But Midnight Sun? Amazing. I love it. It's a million times better than Twilight. And finally everything makes sense. Rolling Eyes . Lawl. Just like you, it wasn't enough to make me go "TWWWIIIIIILLLIIIIIGGGGHHHTTT!!!!" Again, but it was enough to make me consider writting my fanfic again. Cause I dropped my fanfic back in July, and so yeah. I dunno, I might just continue it.

^Yeah I realise I was being harsh to her. I apologise. but i really think that after the negativity and being turned down by countless people that authors go through before they catch someone's eye, then they develop a thicker skin. cause it does take a while for an author to make it to somewhere that will take them on.

So I'm in the belief that you have to be tough to be a writer. and not just books either, journalists and critics and such. they can get a lot of flack for bad writing or something that offends people.
Writers=tough bitches. haha

So I guess I would just expect her to move on if she liked BD enough to write it. but then again, these are her fans saying this so... its a tiny bit different.

Anyway, MS is very interesting. and it does allow you to understand more. And so i really do want her to finish.

(oh, and when i was into the series, New Moon was my favorite also. Very Happy I loved me some Jacob)

Ah...well. I dont know what to say. Im a fan of these books. Have been for well gosh...almost a year now.
My excitement for them has kind of faded. I still love them of course but as someone said before they are amazing when you read them the first time but then they lose their desire after awhile. But well...all great things must come to an end. I must say though. Team STEPHENIE. i do not whatsoever approve of what happened with Midnight Sun and i am extremely disappointed in every fan that is not anti twilight because of such a stupid thing as breaking dawn not turning out how they wanted it to and for them thinking that Stephenie is PUNISHING them by putting the book off. Its extremely mature of everyone to say that about her. Especially considering how ive seen die hard twilight fans go to burn twilight ppl. it makes me mad. sorry rant over.

Okay, so I just read the whole Twilight Saga in the last week.. I know what took me so long? haha Well I read Twilight with in the first week it came out..which was a while ago and I totaly forgot that I had read it untill I picked up a UK version at the airport and read it on my way home in 11hrs.

I really enjoyed the books, mind you I am not an obsessive fan girl or anything but I did enjoy them. It wasn't so much the plot that dragged me, I belive that it was the vividness of each character. I had no trouble painting a picture of each character in my mind. Ofcourse I enjoyed the plot to but it was iffy in some spots. Besides Twilight, Ecplipse was my favorite, why Im not sure.. but it was less depressing then New Moom and not overly happy like the ending of Breaking Dawn.

Midnight Sun, sounds like it will be good... alot more things go on in the mind of a Vampire.

heh. Okay, my previous comment on Stephenie Meyer and her reason for stoping writting on midnight sun, yeah I take it back. I totally take it all back. XD. Because I just remmebered something, and I can't believe I forgot it! But I remembered it, and now I will share it with you all.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows got leaked. COMPLETELY leaked. The entire book was on the internet. This is the seventh Harry Potter book we are talking about okay? People were willing to sell their souls to get their hands on this book. And it got leaked. All of it. I totally thought it was a joke when my dad told me a few weeks before the release of DH, but looking back on what he said it was all thruth. My friend even backs me up -- her dad told her that it was leaked, and if she didn't want to be spoiled then she shouldn't look it up because she will find it. Her dad did read it and so when they both read th actual books he said that he knew it was all coming. It had all been leaked. Now, did JK rowling lock herself away and cry "Oh noes, I'll not releas this book! You guys ruined it! You ruined the magic! Harry Potter is very upset with you all!" Of course she didn't say any of that crap. She released it, and people still went fucking nuts over it, and everything was perfectly finneee. No magic was ruined, no hearts were shatered. So as my firend said when we were watching the Twilight movie for the third time, "Stepehine Meyers should suck it up. We all know how it ends anyways."

XD. Sorry, that just toally popped into my head. Oh, and thinking over it, I finally came up with the answer!!!

Okay, so I was thinking for a while about why I didn't like Breaking Dawn. And I finally came up with it. Oky, ready for this? lol. Fictious world or not, nobody, absolutly nobody, gets their entire life handed to them with a little pink bow on top. [cough bella cough]. There, that's what was basically had been bothering me. There was no sadness, no heartbreak, no sacrifice. She gets Edward, imortality, Jacob, a fucking child, Rosalie likes her, the wolves like her, she reaally loves sex now, she gets to skip the newborn stage, she gets to keep charlie and probably renee and phil too, and just everything. She gets everything, and she doesn't even have to fight for it. Perfect Bella. Perfect Bella in her perfect world. Simply lovely. Urg, thats what had been bothering me. I could put up with a lot of it, and as a read it reall wasn't all too too bad, but thats what ruined the book. lol

You know what? I totaly agree with that! I was conversing with one of my friends yesterday about this, mind you I do like Breaking Dawn. But I do think there should have been a little more bloodshed, and heart breaks. Ofcourse I wouln't want any of the Cullens to die but maybe a wolf or a human?? someone that has some signifigance in the book, because the death of Irina didn't affect me at all.
