I had to stop reading before I got to the third book. I just couldn't take Zoey anymore. And around the time when, after all her b****ing and contempt for slutty behavior, she started juggling three guys, including her idiotic ex-boyfriend and one of her teachers, I put it down. I usually read a series to the finish, even if I hate it, because I have to know the ending. But I couldn't do it with this one.
A while ago, since a friend who is a fan of this series begged me, I considered giving it another chance. So I got on Wikipedia, to get an idea of what the other books were like, and see if Zoey had changed. And found out that by book 5 or 6, she's already juggling three guys again. So then I decided that if Zoey was too stupid to learn her lesson the first time around, she wasn't worth anymore of my time. And hopefully, all the guys in that series will come to agree with me before long, and stop letting her wrap them around her little finger.
Of course, if anyone on here likes it, I'm not trying to bash them or anything. People have different tastes, after all. But Zoey just ruined this whole series for me. I still want to know how it ends, but I think I'll just ask my fanatic friend how things are going, instead of putting myself through more torture.

I have a feeling that Zoey is going to stay with all three: Heath, Stark, and Erik. That's if someone dies, or Heath turns into a vampire. But other than that I have a feeling that she'll stay with all three.
I really like Stark.

I quite liked the series but they're the only books I've ever read where I don't like the main character. The author is supposed to make the character relatable and likeable but she makes Zoey seem like a stuck up ho.

Not only does she have tons of guys drooling at her feet, but she's at least kissed them all. Doesn't she know how to say no? There seems to be a new addition to the warped love triangle every book.

She also seems to have every super power on the planet. I like it when each character has something special about them but she has every power her friends have and a bunch of others on top of that.

I also DESPISE the brackets. They don't need to be there 99% of the time and instead of sounding witty like I think they're supposed to, they make the story sound like a fan fiction rather than an actual novel.

I finished Marked last night.
And, to be honest, my full opinon--Bleh.
The only good characters are Erik (such a sweetie), Damien (hilarious), Stevie Rae, and Aphrodite. Everyone else is either boring, a mary-sue or a boring mary-sue, or annoying. or a boring, annoying mary-sue.
The plot is okay, though.

I read it for Damien. Enough said.

Damien is pretty cool

Damien was an annoying whiny little bamf. In the later books he kinda took 'Pris' to a whole 'nother level.

I read for Erik. And when he turned.... not so babe-licious, I read solely for James, who stole my heart at first glance. ;p

Erik, James, and Aphrodite --> the only real characters in the whole book. Everybody else was a 2-D version of a cliche. Sure, Erik and Aphrodite were really predictable at first, but I'm talking about later books. They really were the only drives in the story.

Well, like I said, the books suck.

I was at Costco the other day, and I saw these books laid out there.
They were being sold for like, 7 bucks a book.

And I was about this close to getting them.
