| since we are in the pre-relise limbo for city of glass, are there any good books that are kind of like The Mortal Instraments Series? Thanks! |

| The Black Tatto is a good book dealing with demons and hell. His Dark Materials is another good one. Looking Glass Wars is another take on the Alice and wonderland story that is really cool. I can't think of any others, but i'm sure that Kaylee can chime in with more as she reads way more than I do. Hope this helps and let me know if you want some more descriptions on the books |

| Let me think here - well I guess it really all depends on what other kinds of things your interested in, but I'll try to give you some series that are close: The Midnighters Series by Scott Westerfeld - These books are about a group of kids that have special powers, but they only have them in the 25th hour of the day. Basically at midnight the rest of the world freezes for one hour, so there are actually 25 hours in a day, except for certian people and those people are called midnighters. But in that 25th hour there are demons and other bad things that are out to get them and are trying to break into our world. The Guardians of Time Trilogy by Marianne Curley - Honestly if I try to write a synopsis on these books I will probably give far to much away. They are basically about Guardians who protect our time from beings called the Order of Choas. I haven't finished this series yet, but so far it's very interesting. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head, if you let me know what else your interested in I can narrow it down slightly. (ie: Vampires, Witchcraft, Faries stuff along those lines lol) |

| Okay, question. Well, not so much question as discussion point. As you all know, the release of the cover of City of Glass has to revealed to all us fans that Sebastian, a character that has yet to be introduced to us, has earned the honor of gracing the cover. My question/discussion point: why? What do you think will be revealed about him that makes him so important? Personally I think we discover that he's Clary's actual brother, not Jace. Anyways, looking forward to the show. |

| Wouldn't that suck if Clary starts to like Sebastian...only to find out he's her actual brother! ahahaha oh that would just be too cruel! Hmmm...Sebastian intersts me. I'm keeping an eye on him. I think he's going to be evil. |

That would be a little cruel. It's probably not likely that he's her brother. I think it's very likely that he turns out to be evil. |

I believe that Cassie already squashed the rumor of another love interest for Clary. As for the whole evil thing, I can definately see that coming. |

However, Cassandra did say that Clary will kiss Sebastian in CoG. Clary kisses three guys in the series: Jace, Simon, and Sebastian she said on google groups. Whether Sebastian is a love interest or its just a kiss we shall see. |

| Alright here are my ideas on him:
I think he may very well be Clary's actual brother - or even a spy that is in fact keeping tabs on her for Valentine. Either way I have a pretty good feeling he's either going to be related to her some how or he's not going to be good in any sense of the word.
See this is how (in my head) I can see everything playing out: He meets and is insanely helpful and sweet to Clary. But even with his niceness he never tells her the correct truth, so she's stuck far away from Jace and everyone for most of the book. In the end she finds out that he is actually tied in and helping Valentine and keeping her away from Jace and everyone for a purpose. (So Valentine has time to kill Jace or what ever the case may be)
And then once she does finally trick him and get to Jace and then they find Valentine together, using their combined skills. When they do find Valentine he reveals that Sebastian was in fact working for him the entire time and then drops the bomb that Sebastian is actually Clarys true brother, who Valentine had one of his other followers raise, but still kept in contact with. And that Jace is in fact really the son of the inquisitors son, whom he took and did experiements on (thus explaining Jaces powers) after his father was dead.
But that's just one of my many theories which will no doubt keep changing all the way up until the day the book comes out |

| Well the more and more that I think about it, the more and more I think that Jace is actually the inquistor's grandson... So I must say I like that theory. |
